Alongside brand articulation, Maryam creates art films and poetic voiceover scripts, offering brands an evocative alternative to direct advertising by conveying, not products or services, but sentiments, values, and cultural causes that are important to the brand through poetic soundscapes and cinematic language.

Maryam delivers work that reflects the sensibility of a literary artist while also drawing on her degree in communications, various professional certificates, including Digital Marketing (Harvard Business School), and two decades of experience in communications and writing for companies such as Visa Europe, Mubadala Investment Company, Ayana Holding, DEWA, Sheraton Grand, Hellooha, MAG, and others.​​​

Bio
Maryam Imogen Ghouth is a literary artist who works across written, audio, and visual poetry and prose. She holds a first-class BA (Hons) in Communication, Authoring, and Design from Coventry University, UK. Her writing has appeared in numerous international journals and anthologies such as Sky Island, Last Leaves, and Querencia Press. She is the author and narrator of 'I Ask My Being: Reflective Poems on Staying True' and the recipient of literary awards, most recently first place in the 2025 American Writers Review Award and third place in the 2025 Kingfisher Poetry Prize. Her poetry recordings have been commissioned for award-winning short films such as 'Under the Sun' by Alla Duhl and for immersive soundspaces, including the biophilic-designed development Keturah Reserve by MAG. Her poetry films, such as 'Not Alone', have garnered 10 first-place awards and six honourable mentions and have screened at arthouses such as Akil, events such as DIFC Art Nights, and 38 festivals worldwide, including Poetry in Motion, Emirates Film Festival, and Sydney Short Film Biennale. Maryam also offers brand writing and communications support for select clients, poetry editing, and self-discovery sessions.
